Date Listed: Aug-14-08 1965 COBRA This beautiful '65 Cobra Replica was titled in '87 and has Corvette running gear. I purchased it 6 years ago from the owner of the Tallahassee Automobile Museum and was told this vehicle was originally built for the owner of the Charlotte Motor Speedway but never verified that fact. This collectible automobile is in very good condition and ready to be driven. It had a recent brake overhaul, new radiator, new high volume radiator electric fan, new Edelbrock aluminum heads, new Holley 650 cfm double pumper carburetor, new hooker chrome side pipes with glass packs, new plugs, new plug wires and new cable/hose dressings. Competition Racing Engines has thoroughly gone through the entire engine and drive train to identify, correct and/or upgrade any deficiencies. The gloss black paint is in excellent condition with only a few hairline cracks and hidden door rubs. The red leather seats are in good condition with two little seams needing to be re-stitched in the driver's seat, (1" & 2"). It comes with a cockpit cover but no top, although the hardware is in place to add one. There is one small power steering fluid leak I have not yet repaired. New fitted, custom made car cover is included. This vehicle has always been garage kept with Battery Tender in place.
